Pieces of Me: Valentine's Workshop Saturday February 8th 1-4pm or 5-8pm Grab a friend and indulge your creativity with shells, stones, scrabble pieces and love missives. Alissa Pearce is a kind hearted artist leading this hands on workshop that includes dozens of fun embellishments to create a hang-worthy art piece signifying love, connection and joy. Alissa says, "this class invites you to choose imagery, words and materials to represent your magnificent heart. Participants will create their own 3 dimensional heart and showcase it in a light-filled shadowbox." Participants will: Participate in group-building activities designed to foster a sense of safety and community inclusion Re-acquaint themselves with heart imagery and symbolism around the world Set an Intention to create both beautiful art and a wonderful learning experience for themselves Become familiar the different materials I used to create my trio of hearts Become familiar with the different materials available to create their own heart shadowbox. Then, Participants will: Select their materials Create their own shadow boxes And Write a short love note to themselves and hide/tuck it in the back of the shadow box
